• After the Oil spill in April a young engineer from MIT decided after visiting that it was time for a change
• Our array of oil skimming technology is a little on the primitive side
• Protei is a group of unmanned Autonomous, almost inexpensive way of cleaning up 
• In a few years time Cesar Harada, the creator of Protei, imagines other uses of unmanned boats
• Some examples are oceanography and surveillance
• On the first episode of a show name "Upgrade", the topic was a rag tag group of scientists try and put together a prototype
